Windham County resident Miguel Angel Rodriguez, of Willimantic, died on Sunday, June 25, hours after the crash in New Haven County on Derby Avenue in Orange. CT Man Under Influence Flees Scene Of Crash, Police Say A Connecticut man was arrested for allegedly fleeing the scene of a crash while driving under the influence. The incident took place around 10:15 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 8 in Waterbury. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 8 northbound, south of Exit #36, in the City of Waterbury.  One of the vehicles involved in the collision had allegedly fled the scene of the crash, state police said. Speeding Stop Leads To DUI Charge For Monroe Man In Westport A traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest of an area man for driving while intoxicated. James Francois, 42, of Monroe, was arrested around 11:53 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4, after being stopped for speeding on Riverside Avenue, said Westport Police.
