300-Vehicle Street Takeover: CT Woman Nabbed For Blocking Crash, Police Say A 24-year-old woman who was involved in a massive Connecticut street takeover, and allegedly hindered aid to the victims of takeover-related crash, has been apprehended, police reported. The New Haven County event happened on Saturday, July 8 in the city of Milford. Around 7 p.m. that day, a street takeover comprised of approximately 300 ATVs, motorcycles, and dirt bikes bombarded the city, causing delays and violations across Milford, police reported. Know Them? Three Wanted For CT Library Vandalism Police are asking the public for identifying three men who rode dirt bikes and ATVs on a library lawn in Connecticut, causing extensive damage. The incident was reported in New Haven County around 1:10 p.m., Wednesday, July 14 in Waterbury. Waterbury Police Department said officers responded to the Silas Bronson Library, located at 267 Grand St., on a criminal mischief complaint.  The callers reported that two ATV quads and one dirt bike were riding through Library Park damaging the lawn area, said Sgt. Video: Police Ask Public's Help IDing Riders Of ATVs On Roadways Recognize them? Investigators from the Stratford Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating several suspects who were caught recklessly riding dirt bikes and ATVs on multiple area roadways. In the video, the suspects can be seen doing wheelies, crossing double yellow lines and speeding away. Some of the motorists were without helmets, while others were masked. The latest incident took place over the weekend when frightened drivers told the news channel that they had been surrounded, cut off in traffic and blocked from intersections and moving on I-95 in New Haven and surrounding roadways.
