Former Fairfield County Resident Sentenced For Distributing Heroin, Having Destructive Devices
A former Fairfield County resident is heading to prison after being sentenced for his role in a drug distribution ring and for possessing “destructive devices.” Jesse Papcun, also known as “Steve,” 32, formerly of Stratford, was sentenced in Hartford district court to 37 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release for distributing heroin in Connecticut. In 2017, members of the FBI’s Bridgeport Safe Streets Task Force and Bridgeport Police Department began investigating individuals who were distributing narcotics in and around Bridgeport,” U.S. Attorney John Durham said. …
