The crash took place in Westchester around 12:20 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 3 in the 600 block of McLean Avenue in Yonkers. Horse Collapses, Dies On Fairfield Beach A 17-year-old horse died on a private beach on Fairfield Beach while out with its owner, according to Fairfield Police. The incident took place around 11:40  a.m. Sunday when the animal collapsed while walking in the water, said Fairfield Police Lt. Robert Kalamaras. According to Kalamaras, the horse named "Boston," was being led by its owner from Norwalk on the beach in the area of 1235 Fairfield Beach Road.
