Food Delivery Driver Shot In Back In Bridgeport A delivery driver was shot while delivering food to a Fairfield County home over the weekend. The incident took place just before 10 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, in the 300 block of Dover Street when after a Shotspotter gunfire activation and numerous 911 calls regarding a person shot in Bridgeport. When officers arrived on the scene they found a man shot in the back after his vehicle came to a stop in front of a snowbank on Dover Street, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management.
