Swastika Found Carved Into Glass At Darien Train Station, Suspect At Large: Police Police are investigating an apparent hate crime after an unknown suspect left a swastika in a Connecticut train station. The symbol was discovered in Fairfield County on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at approximately 12:10 p.m., according to Darien Police. It was carved into a glass window in a bathroom stall of the Darien Train Station, located at 33 West Avenue. Police said they did not know how long the swastika had been there, and no details about the vandal were released. Darien Public Works was notified so that the vandalism could be taken care of. Caught At Darien Train Station: Bridgeport Man Nabbed Trying To Break Into Cars, Police Say A Bridgeport man was charged with attempted burglary after he pulled on the door handles of three cars allegedly attempting to break into them. The incident took place at the Darien Train Station on Wednesday, Jan. 4. Darien Police approached Mohamed Batchilly, age 21, after another train rider reported a "suspicious person" pulling on the door handles of vehicles, said Darien Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros. Know Him? Police Searching Area For Taxi Cab Robber Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly robbed a taxi cab driver. The incident took place in Norwalk on Wednesday, Oct. 16, when the man got a ride from an Eveready Taxi Cab driver at the Darien Train Station and requested to be dropped off at Stop & Shop on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake.
