Man Asleep At Green Light In Darien Charged With DUI, Police Say A Fairfield County man was busted for allegedly driving under the influence after police allegedly found him asleep in the driver's seat at a green light. Herman Cole III, age 31, of Shelton, was charged on Saturday, Dec. 16 at the intersection of Hoyt Street and Camp Avenue in Darien. Sgt. Woman Charged With Larceny In Darien For Using Stolen License Plate, Police Say A 47-year-old woman was charged in Fairfield County with larceny after allegedly using a license plate that had been reported stolen from another vehicle. Sera Fina, address unknown, was arrested in Darien on Thursday, Sept. 7 after she approached a police officer for help with her vehicle.  According to Darien Police Sgt. Drunk Driver Leaves Road, Lands On Front Yard In Darien: Police A 46-year-old man faces drunk driving charges after his vehicle left a Fairfield County road and landed in a front yard, police said.  The incident happened on Tuesday, July 18 just before 12:30 a.m., when Darien police officers responded to the area of 301 West Ave. after receiving a report of a single-car crash, according to Sergeant Dan Skoumbros.
