A 24-year-old woman has been charged with murder after allegedly intentionally drowning her 2-year-old child in the Connecticut River following several crashes, police announced. Middlesex County resident Devoni Miller of Cromwell was arrested by Connecticut State Police on Thursday, Dec. 21 in connection with the death of her daughter, Deroyal Miller, in September 2023, authorities announced. CT Man Charged With Leaving Victim In Chair For Weeks, Without Food For Days
A Connecticut man is behind bars after allegedly leaving a victim in a chair for more than two weeks and withholding food for several days. Middlesex County resident Steven Donen, age 66, of Cromwell, was charged on Monday, July 31 at his Cromwell home. According to Cromwell Police Chief Frederick Sifodaskalakis, on Friday, July 28, officers went to the home for a medical check after receiving a request from a medical office that the victim had missed several appointments. Man, Woman Accused Of Robbing Victim Of Pair Of Shoes In CT At Gunpoint
Two Connecticut residents were charged with allegedly robbing a victim of a pair of shoes at gunpoint. The incident took place in Middlesex County on Sunday, Oct. 9, in the parking lot of River Centre Plaza in Cromwell. According to Capt. Frederick Sifodaskalakis of the Cromwell Police, police responded to 77 Berlin Road at the plaza for a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot.
