Man Attempts To Withdraw $6.2K With Fake ID At HSBC Bank In Darien, Police Say A man is facing charges after he attempted to withdraw $6,200 with a fake ID at a Darien bank, police say. Darien Police say they responded to HSBC Bank (151 Post Road) on Thursday, April 11 around 1:30 p.m. on the report of a male attempting to withdraw money from an account which an employee believed did not belong to him. Police say they were provided with a description of the suspect and escorted him outside for questioning. The man allegedly identified himself as William Evans.
