New Canaan High School Hall Of Fame Coach Keith MacBain Has Died Keith MacBain died at his home in Southampton on Sunday, Sept. 13 due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease.  Keith was born in Englewood, NJ, and lived on a small farm in Closter, NJ, where his father ran a kennel. He later attended Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts and graduated in 1956. He received a B.A. in English from Cornell University in 1960 and an M.A. from Columbia Teachers College in 1964.  He married Cynthia Loring in August of 1960, and they moved to Homewood, Illinois, to teach for two years. Norwalk Trucker Charged In Theft Of $150,000 Worth Of Copper A trucker from Norwalk conspired with two accomplices to steal more than $150,000 worth of copper from a hardware manufacturer in New Jersey, authorities charged. Police arrested the trio after a manager at Elgen/Capital Hardware Inc. in the Bergen County town of Closter reported large quantities of copper missing from the business. Eliseo Adorno, 47, worked with Alvaro Baca, 27, of Roselle, New Jersey, who was the company's shipping manager, and trucker Dimitris M.
