Officers from the Milford Police Department arrested Trumbull resident Christopher Dahlinger, 28, on Wednesday, June 5, an active arrest warrant for a string of burglaries at a business plaza on Naugatuck Avenue. According to police, Dahlinger broke into a pair of businesses on Dec. 26 last year and attempted to break into a third on Jan. 12, unsuccessfully. Westport Police responded to Riverside Sunoco on the report of a burglary on Friday, Jan. 4. The caller observed the suspect make a forced entry. Further investigation revealed that the suspect stole more than $5,000 worth of cigarettes and caused over $1,400 of damage to the front door and cash register.
