Police In One CT City Respond To 2 Shootings, 1 Homicide Overnight Police in one Connecticut city responded to two shootings and one homicide within hours of each other. The incidents took place in New Haven on Monday, Sept. 4 beginning around 9:30 p.m. and running into early Tuesday, Sept. 5. The first incident took place on Woosley Street, where New Haven officers responded to a report of a shooting, said Capt. Woman Struck, Killed By CT Transit Bus A Connecticut woman was hit and killed by a bus. The crash took place around 6:45 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, in New Haven. New Haven Police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian being struck by a CT Transit bus, on Chapel Street, between Orange Street and Church Street. Maria Luisa Morales, age 55, of New Haven, was struck by a box truck on Thursday, March 18, in New Haven, authorities said. The incident took place around 8:46 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, when a passerby called 911 to report a body in the ice-covered Duck Pond of Edgewood Park in New Haven.
