$10K Reward Offered For Information That Helps Find Missing Yale Employee
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that helps police find a Yale University employee who has been missing for about two months.
Anton Sovetov, a 44-year-old graphic designer in the Yale Office of Public Affairs & Communications, was last in touch with colleagues on Friday, Feb. 4, the university said.
He was then seen on video leaving the Elm City Market on Chapel Street in New Haven and walking toward his apartment just before 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5. He was reported missing to police on Wednesday, Feb. 9, the university reported.

ID Released For CT Woman Hit, Killed By Box Truck Operated By Fairfield County Man
Police have released the identity of a woman killed after being hit by a vehicle.
Maria Luisa Morales, age 55, of New Haven, was struck by a box truck on Thursday, March 18, in New Haven, authorities said.
The crash happened about 5:40 p.m., Thursday, on the corner of Temple Street at Chapel Street when Morales began to cross the roadway when she was hit by a commercial delivery box truck traveling eastbound on Chapel Street, said Captain Anthony Duff of the New Haven Police Department.

CT Man Nabbed With Drugs, Guns Following Traffic Crash, State Police Say
A Connecticut man was allegedly found with drugs and two guns after fleeing the scene of a crash.
Aamir Burnett, age 33, of New Haven, was arrested around 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, after he attempted to flee the scene of a crash on I-95 n the area of I-95 and Interstate 91 split, said the Connecticut State Police.
At the time he was apprehended, police said Burnett was in possession of two handguns and a “large amount” of marijuana.
