Fugitive Nabbed In Bridgeport Machete Attack A 22-year-old man was nabbed by US Marshals in connection with a machete attack at a Fairfield County high school. Gerald W. Valle was taken into custody in Pine Prairie, Louisianna on Friday, March 8, and extradited to Bridgeport, to face charges for a violent machete attack that occurred on Central High School property on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Man Arrested In Connection With Shooting At Norwalk Housing Complex A 23-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly shooting a person at an area housing complex. Norwalk Police responded to the shooting around 10 a.m., Thursday, June 11, after receiving a report of the incident at Roodner Court at 261 Ely Ave. Officers arrived and found one victim, who was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, said Norwalk Police Lt. Jared Zwickler. The shooter, later identified as Marcus Bonaparte, address unknown, and the victim knew each other, police said. Two Robberies Under Investigation In Bridgeport Police are investigating two robberies that took place within a short time of each other but seemed to have been committed by different people in Bridgeport. The first incident took place around 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 9, near Central High School, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police.
