Man Found Clinging To Dock In River On Greenwich, NY Border: Police A man was hospitalized after being pulled from a freezing river in Westchester on the Connecticut border, where he was discovered clinging to a dock.  The incident happened on Sunday, Nov. 12 around 1 a.m., when authorities were told that someone needed help in the area of the Byram River on the border between Port Chester and the Fairfield County town of Greenwich.  According to Port Chester Police, authorities on both sides of the river soon began looking for the person in need. Man Found Dead After Going For Swim Under I-95 Bridge, Police Say A 52-year-old man was found dead after going swimming under a bridge in Westchester County. The incident took place in the Byram River under the I-95 bridge in Port Chester around 4:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 9. According to the Port Chester Police, the department received a 911 reporting the man went underwater and never resurfaced. The caller referred to an area under the I-95 bridge where the man was last seen about 30 minutes prior to calling 911, police said.
