Yale Police Chief Anthony Campbell said the incident took place around 3:40 a.m., on Tuesday, June 20 on Mansfield Street in New Haven. No weapons were displayed, and no injuries were reported. Police Alert Residents After String Of Vehicle Thefts In New Canaan Police in Fairfield County issued an alert following a string of vehicle thefts. The New Canaan Police Department said the thefts and suspicious incidents took place between Friday, Oct. 28, and Sunday, Oct. 30. Officers first responded to a report of a vehicle stolen from a driveway in the area of Weed Street and Richmond Hill Road in New Canaan at about 1:20 a.m. on Friday, according to the report. Pickup Smashes Into Front Of CT Gas Station Store, Chains Used To Pull Door Off, Police Say A pickup truck smashed into a Connecticut gas station/convenience and used a chain to rip the front door off the building. After ripping off the door, around 3 a.m., on Friday, March 26, multiple suspects entered the Valero Store located 269 Main Street, in Windsor Locks, said Lt. Paul Cherniack. Officers responded and canvassed the area, but the suspects had fled prior to police arrival, Cherniack said. Burglary Under Investigation At Fitness Gym In Darien Police in Fairfield County are attempting to locate a suspect who broke into an area fitness center and stole items. Officers from the Darien Police Department responded to Infinity Fitness on Heights Road shortly after 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, where there was a report of a break-in.
