School In Fairfield County Earns Blue Ribbon Status One school in Fairfield County earned top marks in 2020 by being recognized as a National Blue Ribbon Schools. U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos announced 367 schools across the country were recognized for their overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among students.
