Wanted Man Attacked Troopers During Probe Of Suspicious Calls To Bradley Airport
A 31-year-old man who had multiple warrants for his arrest attacked Connecticut State Troopers on Monday, June 19, authorities said.
Hartford County resident Martel O. Davis, of Windsor, was charged with assaulting public safety officer, interfering with police, and failure to comply with fingerprint requirements, state police said. He was being held on a $150,000 bond.
Police did not describe the nature of the calls to Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, but investigators said they traced them back to Davis, who already had two open warrants for his arrest.

Accused Drug Dealer Becomes Combative With Officers During Arrest, Police Say
Two people were arrested following a traffic stop during an anti-crime patrol after becoming combative with officers.Carmichael Wright, 27, of the Bronx, and Tarita Banks, 55, of Milford, were arrested on Tuesday following the stop in the area of Naugatuck Avenue and Baldwin Street, the Milford Police said.
According to police, when stopped, Wright became combative with detectives before being taken into custody. During a search of the vehicle 100 grams of marijuana, pre-packaged for sale, and a quantity of money was uncovered, police said.
