St. Luke's Takes Another Shot at New England Title

After a thrilling run capped by its first league title in five years in the Fairchester Athletic Association, the St. Luke's boys basketball team is ready for another challenge. Winners of eight in a row, the red-hot Storm kicks off the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council tournament Wednesday.

St. Luke's takes on Berwick Academy at 4 p.m. at Marianapolis Preparatory School in Thompson, CT in the first round of the Class C NEPSAC tournament. The Storm is ranked fourth in the eight-team tournament in a division that includes FAA rival Hamden Hall. St. Luke's defeated Hamden in the FAA finals Saturday.

The semifinals will be played at a neutral site yet to be decided. The Class C NEPSAC finals will be held at Worcester Academy in Worcester, Mass. St. Luke's was the runnerup to Boston Trinity in last year's Class D NEPSAC tournament.
