After first sharing the New Canaan tennis courts with the girls tennis semfinals match up, the New Canaan boys rolled through Fairfield Warde, 4-0, to win their FCIAC quarterfinal. The match was halted after the Rams secured their four victories.
The individual performances were as follows (New Canaan High players listed first):
#1 Singles: Chase Urban vs Ted Berkowitz, did not finish
#2 Singles: Nick Laub defeated Josh Burger, 6-2, 6-4
#3 Singles: Will Burger defeated Eyad Nagori, 6-2, 6-1
#4 Singles: Tom Worcester vs David O'Hara, did not finish
#5 Singles Steven Evans defeated Jake Blumenfeld 7-6, 6-0
#1 Doubles: Patrick Newton/Jacob Reiss defeated Adam Werner/Kevin Sullivan, 6-4, 6-4
#2 Doubles: Luke McDermott/Connor Hadley vs Devin Pulton/Peter Simonds, did not finish
