New Canaan Crew Wins 12 Medals In Mercer Sprints

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- In the first major regatta of the season, New Canaan Crew picked up 12 medals in 17 events at the Mercer Sprints last weekend in New Jersey.

The Mercer Lake/ISA Sculling Championships included 42 rowing clubs from the Northeast for the three-day competition. As it did at the Greenwich Regatta earlier in April, New Canaan won both the Women’s and Men’s Varsity Quad sculling events.
