NEW CANAAN, Conn -- The New Canaan Senior 7 Red Team closed the regular season with a 14-14 tie on the road against Fairfield Senior 7 Blue. The game was highlighted by a 60-yard touchdown pass from Troy Dunnam to Tommy Root.
The offensive line did a great job of controlling the line of scrimmage for most of the game with Gregory Catalano at Center and Colin Daniels at Tackle and Guard. The defense forced several turnovers including an interception by Austin Bell. Red will begin its quest for a second consecutive title as the Fairfield County Football League playoffs begin next week.
