NEW CANAAN, Conn. Runners of all ages and ability raced Tuesday night in the 6-kilometer team relay of the Cross Country Summer Series at Waveny Park in New Canaan.
The first runners ran 1,000 meters, and the second runners followed with a 3K. The anchors finished up with a 2K. Teams were comprised of men, women, families and men and women. There were 46 teams. Several runners raced 1,000 meters in an individual race.
The final race in the series is Tuesday at 7 p.m. and benefits the Jenny Crain Fund. Find out more about the series at clubct.org.
