The building at 39 Locust Ave., owned by FJL Holdings, has not seen any upgrades since 1992, the Advertiser. Renovations are estimated to cost $550,000, spread out over a 10 year timespan. Before renovations can take place, the district will have to renegotiate its lease, said the New Canaan Advertiser.
Besides upgrades, the renovations will focus on improving safety and security for staff, converting unused space into offices, updating lighting and creating confidential spaces, and other amenities, added the New Canaan Advertiser.
