New Canaan High School Theatre Department Hosting Fundraising Gala

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canaan High School Theatre Department is hosting a fund-raising gala featuring music from the "Magic To Do" songbook of Academy Award and Grammy Award winner Stephen Schwartz on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the high school’s auditorium.

The evening will include music and dance performed by New Canaan drama students, along with students and alumni from The Studio of Performing Arts, New Canaan Dance Academy, New England Academy of Dance and Saxe Middle School.

Songs from “Pippin,” “Wicked,” “Enchanted” and ”Godspell” will be among the selections.

All proceeds from the event will support an upgrade to the sound system for the NCHS auditorium.

Tickets for the show are $30 at the door. Advanced tickets can be purchased for $25, plus a $2 handling fee.
