New Canaan's Joe Scarborough Backs Mallozzi And Williams For Another Term

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- MSNBC host and New Canaan resident Joe Scarborough urged attendees to re-elect First Selectman Rob Mallozzi III and Selectman Nick Williams at a campaign kickoff last week, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.

Scarborough, a former U.S. Representative, spoke about Mallozzi and Williams's experience at the Celebrate New Canaan event held at Williams's home on Friday, June 2, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.

Mallozzi and Williams are both Republicans and are seeking their fourth term in office. The "Morning Joe" host told the crowd of nearly 200 New Canaan community members at the event that he has lived in New Canaan for six years, which is the longest he has lived anywhere in his life, the New Canaan Advertiser reported. He said that he plans on living in town for many years to come, the New Canaan Advertiser reported.
