The town council approved the budget with a 5.15 percent increase, or about $6.47 million more, in April.
The budget is broken down to allow people to see how much money is going to each account in each town department, and the difference between what New Canaan budgeted for each and the difference in what it received this year.
The fiscal year begins July 1 and runs through June 30, 2014.
