New Canaan Library Seeks Additional $50K In Budget

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Little costs add up and the New Canaan Public Library is asking for an additional $50,000 on top of its regular budget, reports New Canaan Advertiser .

Everyday costs like insurance, bank charges, cleaning supplies and garbage collection are just some necessities noted where the extra funds would be needed, according to New Canaan Advertiser.

The library has a public-private partnership with the town. New Canaan would cover $2.15 million of the $2.82 budget, reports New Canaan Advertiser .
