Jones has been a member of the Board of Selectmen since 2011. Her top priorities are the $16.9 million Saxe Middle School auditorium renovation and 12 classroom expansion as well as a parking garage on Locust Avenue, the News said.
The Democrats also nominated Board of Finance member Jim Kucharczyk and incumbent Joseph Paladino to run for the Town Council, the New Canaan News said. They also nominated Brendan Hayes to run for the Board of Education, the story said.
