Police pulled Stamford resident Acuna-Escobar over on Sunday after he turned, failed to signal, and accelerated to the point his tires squealed and the car spun out of control, NCAdviser.com reported.
After conducting a field sobriety, police charged Acuna-Escobar with operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, failure to signal while turning, and possession of alcohol by a minor . Acuna-Escobar is due in court on Oct. 18, according to NCAdvertiser.com.
