New Canaan Radio Shack Employees Stole $8K Worth Of Cellphones, Police Say

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Two Radio Shack employees were charged with stealing about $8,500 worth of cellphones, New Canaan Police said.

Courtney R. Tucker, 31, of 22 short St., Bridgeport, was arrested Wednesday after she turned herself in to authorities, police said. She was held on $10,000 bond and appeared in Norwalk court on Wednesday. 

Brandon M. Amexzquita, 22, of 9 East Hill Drive, was arrested Saturday. He posted $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.

Each was charged with third-degree larceny.

Police were called Monday morning after store management discovered 15 cellphones valued at $8,566.59 had been stolen.
