New Canaan Police Warn Of Rash Of Car Break-Ins

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — New Canaan police are reminding residents to lock their cars at night after a series of thefts were reported in recent weeks, according to the New Canaan News.

Residents can help to deter car break-ins by removing their cash and valuables from their cars at night and by locking their vehicles, police said.

Police said residents have reported break-ins and thefts from unlocked cars parked and homes on Old Stamford Road, Studio Road, and South Bald Hill Road.
