NEW CANAAN, Conn. A New Canaan man reported the theft of a $1,200 designer dress from his home on Sherwood Lane, according to New Canaan police.
Officers say the white sleeveless dress apparently was taken between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. last Monday, Sept. 17. Police said people were working at the home at that time.
They said the Sherwood Lane resident was holding onto the dress for a friend.
