New Canaan Police: Packages Reported Stolen After Delivery To Homes

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan Police are asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle that is believed to be connected to the theft of packages delivered to homes by Federal Express on Thursday.

FedEx issued a warning to New Canaan Police that a white vehicle with the partial Connecticut license plate beginning with 724 is following their delivery vehicles. Several thefts were reported Thursday, and police are now asking for the public's help in locating the vehicle.

Also, police are asking that residents with surveillance cameras to check whether they had any deliveries and whether a white vehicle is seen.
