Miguel A. Palencia, 29, of Stamford, broke into a New Canaan home in November, police told Patch.com. Nothing was taken from the home, but a GPS was reported stolen from a vehicle in the garage, Patch.com reported.
Fingerprints and palm prints were recovered at the scene, and the Connecticut State Forensic Lab identified them as belonging to Palencia, who has a criminal record, Patch.com said.
