New Canaan Man Charged Following Police Probe Of Underage Party

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A 19-year-old New Canaan man is facing drug and interference with police charges following a police investigation into an underage drinking party in New Canaan on New Year's Eve, the New Canaan Advertiser reports.

Carson Armstrong, of Valley Road, was charged with possession of narcotics (cocaine) and interference with police after officials investigated a party at 7 Wellesley Drive on Dec. 31, 2015, according to the New Canaan Advertiser. Police said they were called to the home where they discovered a large group of young people along with cocaine, marijuana and alcohol, the New Canaan Advertiser says.

Armstrong is due in Norwalk Superior Court on March 3, the New Canaan Advertiser reports.
