New Canaan Man, 22, Faces Burglary Charges After Car Break-Ins At Condo

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A 22-year-old New Canaan man faces felony burglary charges in connection with car break-ins at a Locust Avenue condo complex last week, the New Canaan News reported.

Dale Wayton, of Forest Street was arrested at 3:33 a.m. Aug. 2 after a resident spotted a suspicious man entering a car at 81 Locust Ave., the New Canaan News said.

Wayton was charged with two counts of attempted burglary, and one count each of second-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny, police told the News. He was released on $25,000 bond for an appearance at state Superior Court in Stamford.
