NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A brush fire started in pile of wood on the side of a house on Parish Lane South on Wednesday, April 20, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
The homeowner's son first noticed a flame in the wood pile while jumping on a trampoline, the New Canaan Advertiser said.
The fire spread to the mulch near the woodpile, but firefighters were able to extinguish it before it spread any further, added the New Canaan Advertiser.
