Massachusetts Woman Charged With Using Credit Cards Stolen In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Three weeks after credit cards were stolen from a vehicle parked overnight on Oeneke Ridge Road in New Canaan, police have arrested a Massachusetts woman in the case.

Shavonne Cox-Eleuthere, 33, of 147 Belmont Ave., Springfield, Mass., was charged by New Canaan Police with using stolen credit cards.

Charged with one count each of second- and third-degree identity theft and illegal use of a credit card is Shavonne Cox-Eleuthere, 33, of 147 Belmont Ave., Springfield, Mass.

Police said the theft occurred overnight June. The credit cards were stolen from a parked vehicle and then subsequently used, police said. 

She was held on $1,500 court bond and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
