But that call also resulted in his arrest on drug charges, police said.

David Sutcliffe Morgan, 24, had left the duffel bag in the parking lot of the Elm Street train station in New Canaan on New Year's Day.

However, officers had taken a look inside the duffel bag, found marijuana and cocaine and issued a warrant for the man's arrest, police said.

Morgan, of 114 Christopher St., New York City, turned himself in to New Canaan Police on Tuesday. He was charged with one count each of less than one half ounce of marijuana and possession of narcotics. His bond was set at $1,000, and he was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 16.
