2 Unlocked Cars With Keys Inside Reported Stolen In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — Two cars were stolen out of the garage of a home on Forest Street in New Canaan early Saturday, New Canaan police said.

A post on Twitter from New Canaan police said the keys had been left inside the vehicles, which were unlocked. The garage door had been left open. 

"Lock cars, remove valuables & close garage doors!!!" New Canaan police said on Twitter. 

The two thefts are just the latest in string of stolen vehicles in New Canaan in recent months.
