Town Commission Starts Green Survey For New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — New Canaan’s Conservation Commission wants to see how environmentally friendly residents are, so its conducting a survey.

“From lawn care to recycling to heating our homes, New Canaanites make decisions every day that affect our environment,” a release from the commission said.

The survey is being done so town officials can better decide on the future of New Canaan in regards to issues on energy and open space, a news release on the town website said.

The survey takes about ten minutes, and everyone in your home should participate, the release said.

“Thank you for helping us make a healthier, cleaner, more energy efficient New Canaan,” the town release said.
