A Stamford man who police said tried to use someone elses I.D. at a New Canaan drug store Saturday was arrested after he allegedly threatened the stores manager.
Torrian R. Hodge, 21, of Hope Street, Stamford, was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal impersonation and second-degree threatening. Police said Hodge purchased more than $100 in items from the CVS Pharmacy on Park Street at about 8 p.m. He returned to the store about 45 minutes later to ask for a refund without his receipt. Police said the manager asked him for a drivers license and Hodge handed her a state I.D. card with a picture that did not resemble him. Police said he swore and raised his voice at the manager and tried to get the I.D. card back. Police said Hodge left as the manager called 911. Hodge was arrested in the stores parking lot.
He was released on $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court March 11.

? Police are investigating a fraud case in which a woman lost $2,400 last Wednesday. Police said the email account of a 51-year-old New Canaan woman was hacked into and the hacker, posing as the woman, contacted one of her friends and told the friend she was in London and in need of money. Police said the friend wired $2,400 via Western Union.
? Eugene Kaspruk, 51, of Marshall Ridge Road, was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. Police said Kaspruk and his 43-year-old sister were involved in a verbal dispute at about 10:20 p.m. Police said the matter escalated and Kaspruk shoved her to the ground and struck her on the side of the head. The woman was not taken for medical treatment, police said. Kaspruk was released on $250 bond and appeared Monday in Norwalk Superior Court.
? Mark D. Rosenbloom, 50, of Canaan, was charged Tuesday with failure to drive right and DWI. Police said an officer pulled Rosenbloom over at about 8:12 p.m. after noticing that he was driving northbound in the southbound lane of White Oak Shade Road. Rosenbloom was given a field sobriety test and then arrested.
Rosenbloom was released on $250 bond and is scheduled to appear Thursday in Norwalk Superior Court.
