NEW CANAAN, Conn. A Waterford man already accused of taking part in a string of home burglaries across the state is facing even more charges after a second arrest.
Mark Missino, 44, was arrested last Thursday on a warrant served at Norwalk Superior Court. Missino is charged in connection with New Canaan break-ins with four counts of first-degree larceny, three counts of second-degree burglary, one count of second-degree larceny, one count of third-degree larceny and four counts of third-degree burglary.
The charges were linked to home break-ins last year on Woodridge Circle, Chichester Road, Bridle Path Lane, Wahackme Road, Ramhorne Road, Smith Ridge Road and Stonehenge Road in New Canaan. Police recovered items stolen from the homes in a storage facility in East Lyme.
Police announced last April that they had warrants to arrest Missino and Bernard McAllister, 40, of Lisbon, in the string of thefts. McAllister was arrested in May and faces similar charges.
Missino was held at the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution on $350,000 bond.
