New Canaan's Mike Lupica Reportedly Out In Daily News Shakeup

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New York Daily News began a company-wide downsizing on Wednesday, including laying off noted sports columnist Mike Lupica of New Canaan.

The cuts are just the latest move for the New York tabloid that is under financial duress. Owner Mort Zuckerman recently attempted to sell the Daily News, which is reportedly losing between $20 million and $30 million a year, Capital New York said.
