NEW CANAAN, Conn. Progress continues at a steady pace to restore residential power. In several instances, expected restoration dates and current status posted by Connecticut Light & Power are inaccurate. It is our understanding that CL&P is working to improve the quality of this information.
The Town of New Canaan will be providing lunch and showers from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at New Canaan High School. Water distribution sites at the high school and West Elementary School will also be open from noon to 4 p.m. The New Canaan YMCA showers continue to be open for all residents during their normal business hours.
