He is currently a vice president in the human resource division at Morgan Stanley in New York and an active 15-year member and former assistant chief of the New Canaan Fire Company #1, the release said. He also plays goalie in a recreational hockey league in Ridgefield.

Capt. He has also served additional tours in Balad Air Base, Iraq, the Arabian Gulf, and across the U.S. and is an air battle manager, air weapons officer and an air surveillance officer, the release said.

This year’s guest speaker will be John McLane, an operating executive and adviser with financial services, publishing, media and information content firms, a release said. He was the founding president of LEXIS & NEXIS and president of the service arm of Citicorp’s Global Insurance Division, the release said.

McLane received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Michigan State University, where he competed in national championships in soccer and wrestling, and is a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he was a five-time decorated commander with the First Cavalry Division in Vietnam, the release said.
