Police arrested a man Sunday after he allegedly became belligerent with an animal control officer. David Bauman, 53, of Glenbrook Road, Stamford, was charged with failure to obey an officer's signal, failure to license a dog and second-degree breach of peace. Police said Bauman was at Waveny Park with a dog at about 4:28 p.m. Sunday when an animal control officer approached and asked to see his license. Police said Bauman refused to show a license and became belligerent with the officer before driving away. He was later arrested.
