A female jogger called New Canaan Police just before 2 p.m. Sunday, saying she had seen a white male exposing himself in Waveny Park at 677 South Ave., police said. The jogger said the man was standing with his pants and underwear around his ankles, though she said he did not appear to be touching himself or engaging in lewd behavior. The 48-year old woman from Stamford stayed on the phone with police while officers drove to the park and she said she saw the man get into a vehicle. The jogger identified both the driver and the vehicle. Trent M. Chini, 20, of Smith Ridge Road in New Canaan, was arrested and charged with breach of peace in the second degree. Chini, who told police he was urinating, was released on a promise to appear in court on August 24.
