NEW CANAAN, Conn. Hundreds of New Canaan homes were without power early Monday evening.
According to Connecticut Light and Power, nearly 800 of the towns customers about 9 percent of the town's customer base were without power as of 8:30 p.m. Monday. The New Canaan Office of Emergency Management reported that a power line at the Lakeview Avenue substation became disconnected at about 5 p.m. Power is expected to return to all customers by 10 p.m.
