Congressman Jim Himes (D-4th district) is taking his campaign to the people of New Canaan. Himes will hold a town hall meeting Thursday evening at New Canaan High School to listen to voters' concerns.
This is the third town hall meeting in Fairfield County this month for Himes. He spoke in Fairfield August 5 and Shelton August 7, "to discuss the complex nature of the fiscal problems facing our country and to gather input from constituents on how they would like to see the federal budget balanced," according to his website. The congressman will be at NCHS from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Himes will face Republican Dan Debicella in November.
